Insurance and trans fats

One of the drawbacks of being a healthy type like myself is that you're always on the lookout for things to improve - diet, exercise regime, general health.

Lately I got to thinking about medical cover. If I ever need medical treatment (and touch wood hopefully I won't) then I don't want to be hanging around waiting at the end of a very long queue twiddling my thumbs and working myself into state about things. I want to be seen as soon as possible and get back on two wheels as fast as I can.

So it's time to start researching health insurance online - there's a discount (as there is with many things these days) for buying online. Basically what with all the cuts going on these days I don't want to take any chances with my health. Which leads me to this:

I'm also thinking about a major change to my diet - eradicating trans fats, as I believe that they're fairly nasty in terms of what they do, but so far I can't find much info on food labelling, so not a great start there. Any ideas??

In my next post I will mainly be discussing the bikes that we all had as kids in the UK back in the day. Made By Craftsmen in Nottingham (ie Raleigh), mainly - happy days.
